Originally starting out as a solo project in 2015, Sounds & Scenarios is an alternative/emo act from Boston, MA, blending influences of pop punk, arena rock, 80's pop, and other alternative genres. Though there have been some lineup changes throughout the years, the lineup currently consists of guitarist/vocalist Tyler Chase, guitarist Braeden Rawa, and bassist Avery Jones. Their newest single “When the Fame Goes to Die” is available now.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, rather than just sitting idly by and waiting for concerts to return, Sounds & Scenarios got to work on a brand new EP, which would eventually be Maybe Someday We’ll Bloom, which would introduce a new sound for the band. With a complete rebranding, the group released a single called “Seattle,” where they made their arena intentions very clear, showcasing ear-wormy hooks and 80’s rock inspired guitar work. The track received positive reception from fans, and properly kicked off the new era. A month later, the band unleashed “Eternity,” a track influenced by The Weeknd and early Paramore in sound. Following the synth-pop smothered single came the announcement of Maybe Someday We’ll Bloom, which was released January 1st, 2021. After the EP dropped, Sounds & Scenarios once again got to work on a split EP with Vermont pop-punk act The Silent Mile, which was released through DIY record label JCH Records, who helped with physical and online distribution. After a bit of silence following their split EP, they teamed up with Ghost Killer Entertainment to premiere their new track “When the Fame Goes to Die” on August 19th, with the song dropping on all streaming services the next day.

Sounds & Scenarios have proved to have a very energetic and tight live show, having shared the stage with such acts as Carousel Kings, Never Loved, We Were Sharks, Assuming We Survive, and other bands. The band even had the chance to play alongside such bands as Handguns, With The Punches, and Keep Flying as part of South Shore Alley Fest in Long Island, NY. The group is most known for their hit single “Better Off Without You,” which was featured on Spotify’s New Punk Tracks and Pop Punk’s Not Dead. The song appears on their 2019 release While You Roam, which was produced by Mike Dwyer (Shawn Mendes, The Lumineers, The National).
